Metalheads, I need opinions...

Okay, this is actually constructive, for me at least.

I'd like some opinions on the musical project I used to be involved with. I played bass, some guitar, and did the production, all on a Roland VS-880.

I have MP3 files, and I want opinions, so if you'd like to hear it, PM me with an e-mail address (you know I wouldn't fuck around with it, I'm an honorable Wackbagger).

Basically I'm looking to start up a similar project and would like to know if this is a good direction to go in, and if not, what would make it better?

Well I gave it a listen. It isn't to bad, but to me it sounds like a lot of the stuff that is the norm these days. I think you are on the right track, but I would stray a bit from the metalcore sound.

Again, the music itself is pretty good. Maybe it is the vocal style that is bugging me.

I had no control over the vocals, the singer was a talented, stubborn, Berklee student. Most talented musicians are stubborn.
