If anyone is bored on Sunday, come out to the Flemington Elks for Ride-4-Erik, a benefit motorcycle ride/event for the Zimmerman family in Lambertville. The motorcycle ride begins around 9 or 10, i think. music and beer starts around 1:00. my band, mono/distorto will be playing, along with a johnny 7 reunion and the hit and run band.

$10.00 bottomless beer mug
mono/distorto plays a hybrid of rock, funk, blues and metal improvisation with a healthy dose of spinal tap humor. we've been compared to led zeppelin, deep purple, ween, mogwai, and frank zappa. because much of the set is improvised on the spot, you might call us a jamband, but it's a little too heavy to be "jam." then again, it's a little too improvisational to be metal. come out and decide for yourself. this is a great cause for a great family who needs help with some medical bills.
