yeah, downloading kiddie porn. they were after him for that and he fled the country. he's still getting charged, just not for killing Jon Benet. he was obsessed with the case and wanted some kind of personal attachment to it, sorta the way stalkers sometimes kill their "stalkees," to create a personal attachment. when you think of Lennon's death, you think Mark David Chapman. when you think of JFK, you think of Lee Harvey Oswald. and Karr wanted to be personally associated with Jon Benet in a similar way, so he copped to a murder he wasn't guilty of.
