During CNN's live coverage of President Bush's remarks from New Orleans, Kyra Phillips was unaware that her microphone was on and picked up portions of a conversation she was having with another woman.

Yes it did...Lt. Frank Drebbon had a very similar incident when the Mayor of Los Angeles was giving a press conference

Sometime I wonder if stuff like this actually "accidental". That maybe the cable news companies do stuff like leaving the mikes on on purpose to get a ratings spike.

Actually this happened in the 90s years on CNN...Same thing mic left on in the bathroom. The woman was actually taking a shit..I forget the anchors name
