I hate these motherfucking school buses. I forgot that today was the 1st day of school, so I'm sitting behind a fucking bus picking kids up that are literally 50 feet apart.

YOU LAZY MOTHERFUCKERS! It's called a BUS STOP! ONE! It's not fucking door to door limo service. WALK YOU PRICKS!!! YOU ALL SHOULD FUCKING DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I'm going to have to leave 10 minutes earlier just to avoid getting stuck behind these things. I don't see how more school buses aren't sideswiped off the fucking road. If I had a bigger car I might consider it for real, I know I was thinking about it in my Subaru.

Judging how obese these little fat fucks have become, it would make more sense to put an end to all bussing and make the bastards walk, but then you wouldn't get those hidden cam videos showing one low class fucker terrorizing another kid, beating him to a pulp. I have no sympathy as there was a bus strike when I was a kid and I had to walk, and after the strike was over, there was no budget for bussing the next year.

Was it 15 miles in the snow and uphill both ways?

Personally, I love the first day of school (minus the traffic it causes) it gets all the fucking stupid little kids off the streets and out of restaurants and movie theatres during the day, and out of the bars at night.

There was a record snowfall that year (1978), but it wasn't bad overall. Have you seen some of these little fat fucks lately? You'd do well to tell them to lie down on their sides and roll them toward the school, the rotund bastards!

Yeah, I was just busting your balls. The way you worded that last response, you sounded like the stereotypical old man telling stories. Having the bus come pick you up at your house is fucking ridiculous and uncalled for.

I know, we all am be pals here. When the transit strike took place a few months ago, they showed these poor 'youths' who had to get up early to walk from Lower Manhattan to Upper Manhattan to get to school so they could slack off, sleep, and throw the free breakfasts and lunches (some even get free dinners for themselves and their families) at one another. These cretins walked with baggy clothing that somehow was tight on their person. Therefore, I have no sympathy. There will be no Social Security when I'm of retirement age many moons from today, and the brain trust being shuttled around on school busses eating up our tax dollars doesn't have me optimistic that they'd get good paying jobs to contribute to an alternative plan.

I heard on O&A that school was starting up there this morning. I have been in school for a while, this is my 3rd week, if I am not mistaken. I would like to extend an FU to high school, high schoolers, and school buses. At least I drive to school so I can avoid the coons and spics on the bus.

Schools do stink but you're only attacking the symptom of the problem, not the problem itself.

The real problem, and the thing that we have to do away with, is children.

Except the hot teens, of course.

To be serious for a moment, the buses stop every 50 feet are usually on streets with no sidewalks, right? That's how it is in the district where I teach (I will assume that the above FU's were directed to teachers other than band directors like myself). It is ridiculous to require buses to stop at every student's house, but the way things are today, if a student gets hit by a car walking to the bus stop along a street with no sidewalk, the school gets sued for a ton of cash. In fact, I am sure that parents would sue the school even if there IS a sidewalk.

Schools started to really suck when parents stopped taking responsibility for their children. I have a lot of students whose parents will complain if they have ANY homework. "Why didn't they do this work at school?" I am afraid that until parents take responsibility for THEIR children, schools will not get any better.

THAT is why the Chinese are going to get us.

I know it's said every generation and I will be one to say it too. How do people expect their kids to deal with life when they have parents who will never let them face the world just a little bit. Just a tiny little bit of reality like walking to a bus stop. I mean I realize these are suburbs so you most likely cant walk but at least let them go to a "bus stop". I mean I'm not a parent but I expect that when I do become one I will want my kids to be safe but they need to deal with life too. I dont want my son or daughter growing up like a nervous little poodle.

Im from MA and the busses here are the same way. Is it the chesters out there? Is that what it is? They canceled school 2 times last winter because "its too cold for kids to wait for the bus" I was in high school 8 or 9 years ago and I can remember sniffing and my snots freezing my nostrils together it was so cold. That doesnt happen at 25 degrees like the days they canceled. It happens in temps in single digits and under.

These fucken schoolbuses annoy the shit out of me. I skip one block cuz i see a bus turn into it, and take a detour, only to end up behind another schoolbus. And these things are rediculous. I dont know about other areas, but here in the 5 boroughs its illegal to pass a schoolbus that is in the middle of picking up children, even if you are on the other side of the street. So these bus drivers just pull over at a 45 degree angle and block up the whole street. I personally dont give a shit and when i see that and have a chance to, i jump on the sidewalk, and hopefully i can mow down some children along the way.
