Fuck The IT People's "No Internet" Post At Work

I'm sure this has happened to you at your place of work at one time or another, the clueless IT guys who need to implement a new program to switch over the whole company call your department's boss and demand no one use the internet because its screwing up their precious T1 connection. I use the net to check my email on occassion throughout the day and see the occassional webpage like this one (no porn) to maintain my sanity, but oh no, this pebble in the IT department's shoe is bringing down the whole operation. If I were making vast sums of money I could understand the limit on use, but there is occassional down time, so it was a good way to see what was going on in the outside world. Yes, posting here on Whackbag was what did you guys in from implementing the new system that's going to be a disaster for all. Next, they'll say that we probably need to have the office chilled to 30 below zero because its better for the computers. Fuck IT guys who don't know shit and blame the petty things from implementing their master vision at work. Now I have little choice but to inadvertently hear all the bullshit that the cackling whores in the office persistently talk about to one another. Your man's out of prison and he landed a job with sanitation? He's been on time every day this week too? Oh, how terrific for you both, you should be so proud of the catch you've made there.

There were 15 people in today, about five of us use the net from time to time, the rest are savages who are lucky they can talk to one another in grunts. If you read my post you would have noted that my gripe is with the IT a-holes who haven't been able to figure out how to do their job and get the system running as it should have been already, instead blaming the small handful who check their email here, or glance at a webpage there, not playing music from an online source all day or keeping the explorer open all the time.

I think its a T1 line, whatever is the latest. There are four people working around the clock and they can't make head or tail of the new system, but get paid really well even though its behind schedule. Keep the old system that works, keep the internet, and purge the know nothing IT douches.

15 people might make it a little slow, but nothing they should bitch about. Thats what I don't understand. Use a switch, firewall the network, use AV software on all machines and call it a day. Stop fuckin with shit, tryin to trick this or that. Shit never works. Go with what you know will work...IT retards.

I am going to school (partially) for IT and I can already tell the two or three asshats in class who crawl out of their mom's basement away from their 9 computers who are going to be an issue for someone's company. They sit there and babble about nothing. Even the teacher is like "when will you ever need to know that".

Too bad you don't have that special caramel hue skin tone and an annoying Indian accent, you could land a job with the place I'm at. I know very little about computers and computer networking (but now I'm tempted to learn) and even I realize the jig is up for these guys, they couldn't deliver what they said they could. The one chick chain smokes now because the computer program someone sold to the company (wouldn't be surprised if it were a relative of a higher up or some kickback money went to them under the table) is impractical for our needs and they can't get it functional. But the few people who use the net to keep their balance between calls and the usual office BS are the source of the problem. Sure. Maybe I'll use my free time now to write a ghetto scumbag/regular person (and vice versa)dictionary.
