(Portland, OR) -- Twelve men have been indicted for being members of an alleged drug ring that operated for 30-years. Eight suspects are from Oregon and southwest Washington and all but one are in custody. In the federal indictment, the suspects are charged with drug distribution and money laundering. Six of the men are also accused of operating a criminal enterprise. Federal authorities say the ring began in Roseburg, Oregon among a group of high school friends and expanded over the years. It allegedly made more than 20-million-dollars trafficking in cocaine, marijuana and methamphetamine.

Ive had two friends deal before, they made their dough and then got out. You ALWAYS get busted if you have any sort of size. My friends would only sell to those they knew, and would never sell to anyone under 25. A mom pissed at her little bundle of joy smoking weed is NOT good for biz.

I knew a guy,2-3 times a year would go get a 1/2 key of coke,sell it to the same people he been dealing with for 15 years,no problems.I knew the fucker 2 years before I got to go to his house.He wasn't very flashy,no one ever knew,and he's prolly still at it.

I used to buy weed of a guy I knew for a long time, this dude sold weed for like 25 years, same people, no probs. He got busted about 8 years ago, he found out the bust was initiated by someone that "dropped a dime" on him while living in an apartment building ten years before he finally got busted! The cops just continued to investigate him for ten years trying to get more info on who supplied him, etc. This guy always had several pounds of quality bud on his premises. It took ten years but they finally got him. You never know w/this shit.
