sure thing... and take Ahman Green off my list he tweaked a hammy in practice and might not play this week.
Unless I imagined hearing it on the radio tonight in my drunken stupor, L.J. Smith has been upgraded to probable...you can remove him from my bust list. He should be a decent option this week.

LT has a bye week. Do I start Barlow or Betts as my second running back?

I would look to the waiver wire for help this week if anyone is there. I am not in love with either option but Barlow is going to get most of the work for the Jets, so I would start him over Betts The problem is that the Jets don't run the ball well. I would keep an eye on Portis too just to make sure that nothing crazy happens where he winds up missing the game again. If Portis does miss the game I would start Betts

Of those two, Barlow...Betts isn't going to play much with Portis back.
But if Correll Buckhalter is available on your waiver wire, I might pick him up and give him the start this week. I still think Westbrook's action will be limited, if he plays at all, for the Eagles this week. That means more opportunites for Buckhalter against a bad 49ers defense.

I think that you are starting all the right people that are on your roster. The only moves that I'd think about making is starting branch over cooley, and Brees over Grossman

It is a 14 team money league, there is SHIT out there as free agents go.

No sir, not only is Buckhalter taken, Westbrook is my number two running back. How banged up is he? Do I go with Barlow AND Betts?

Barlow almost had two. I will take the 7.5 from my number three. Westbrook already has one. Yeah me.
I dropped Betts today (Portis looked healthy to me today) and picked up that reciever from Buffalo. You not only get return TD's in my league, but return yards. He could be gold.

Betts's game today was an abberation. The TD he scored he only got because it came after a 74 yard pass to Portis and they took him out to give him a quick breather.
And the yardage he got was because they destroyed the Texans. The Redskins won't have too many more games where they're up enough that they can use Betts to run out the clock.

I'll start by saying I'm 3-0 with this team, but I have to upgrade my RBs if I'm going to last.
Here's my roster:
QBs:
Eli Manning
Michael Vick
RBs:
Brian Westbrook
DeShaun Foster
Cedric Benson
Brandon Jacobs
WRs:
Larry Fitzgerald
T.J. Houshmanzandeh
Amani Toomer
Jericho Cotchery
TE:
Dallas Clark
Ks:
Jay Feely(he's gone this week, I think, for either a freeagent TE or D/ST)
Mike Vanderjagt
D/ST:
Falcons
My question is, if you had the team who my friend has:
QBs:
Dante Culpepper
Phillip Rivers
RBs:
Edgerinn James
Jamal Lewis
Wille Parker
would you trade one of your RBs for Vick, or would I have to sweeten the pot????
He just lost to me yesterday, by the way.

Its worth a shot, but don't be surprised if he shoots it down. The problem is that Vick is a mediocre fantasy option at QB and isn't really that much of an upgrade from what he has at the position already. Vick will only add value in leagues where you get more points for a rushing TD than a passing TD, but that value is marginal at best as I don't see him rushing for 10+ TDs.
You'll definitely get more for Eli, but it will take huge stones to trade the 3rd ranked QB in most scoring systems. If you do pull that deal off, you should easily get one of his RB's and should look to get one of his QBs in return and look to play matchups for the rest of the season.

Let's recap this week's picks
QB
Donovan McNabb - W - Another strong performance
Jon Kitna - W Packers D' is that bad
Daunte Culpepper - L Made an AWFUL defense look good
Brett Farve - W Huge game, Huge...
RB
Ronnie Brown L - Miami's Offense is not very good right now
Jamal Lewis L - Dissapointing showing against a bad D
Kevin Jones W - 120 total yards and a TD
Ahman Green W* 120 total yards w/TD and a bad hammy
WR
Tory Holt W - Nice game vs. overrated D
Donald Driver L - Scored a TD, but needed more than 20 yards
Mike Furrey - L - Didn't make 1st catch until 4th quarter
Jerricho CotcheryL - Disappointing showing
Derrick Mason - W Didn't Score, but McNair to Mason was back in business
6-6 this week. Brown and Lewis could have been pushes, but given their matchups, I think they qualify as an L. I panicked with Green when I saw the report on the tweaked hammy and took him off my list but an ok week over all.

There's no way that I would trade one of his RBs if I were him. He has decent but not great options at QB (will probably start Rivers the rest of the way) and two good RBs with a solid 3rd option for bye weeks. That's really what you need to put a good fantasy team together. Personally I'd much rather start Rivers at QB with Edge and Parker at RB over Manning at QB with say Parker and Jamal Lewis at RB.
