I like the fact that he doesn't seem to give a flying fuck that he's on Free-Fm and lets the words flow naturally like a conversation.
Fuck the FCC! maaaaaan....

Absolutely

Was Louis on again today?
Or is this about his appearance last week with Shapiro?
I'm confused
Edit: Nevermind I read Happytypinggirls's recap.
Nice, I can't wait to hear the show with him in studio. Last time he was great.

While his prime motivation for being on was probably the coast to coast FM audience O&A has, I think he enjoyed himself. I also think Otto was invited specifically to help him feel comfortable with the "hang". I think they always try to do that for "big guests" so they don't feel so much on the spot, and leave with the desire to come back.

They invited him to come in like 4 times during his last phoner with them. So glad they finally got him in there. He fucking killed. He's one of the few guys I've heard that I could see being another 3rd seat fill-in when Jimmy's gone, just because he fit in so damn well.

Hey, he did have his own sitcom, at least for a season. God damn he was great on there though. Don't think Otto was in there to make him feel better though, but it's an interesting idea. This is definitely the dirtiest group of comedians I've ever heard on there. Otter/George, Jimmy, and Louis CK, doesn't get much dirtier than those 3 guys. Amazing fucking show.

Amazing fucking show.
We don't need that type of language on this FCC friendly board.

I think if Vos, Burr or Kelly were free, they might have been there too. When you have an established comic on the show for the first time, you don't want him there alone if you can help it. I think they have multiple comics in studio to show them they can just jump in. Without that, they seem to feel like they are more on the psot to perform.

Well, Howie is Sat-only, and Louie needs to promote, so I think that was what pushed him over to come in.

Yeah Otto's commentary on that song (which no one else had the balls to call it out on since that guy does great work for them otherwise), telling Anthony he watches too much TV, and then the comment to the overweight gal. Goes to show that a 4th or 5th mic don't have to yap yap yap to get line of the day, if you pick your spots carefully like a sniper, you can blow up the fucking room.

Killer show across the board, today.
Otto did seem to hang a little low early on and
pick his spots like a champ. Louis was obviously
enjoying himself and brought a different vibe
to the show in a major good way.

How can you screw with the FCC with Al Dukes on the button?
And we all know Al can take a lot of abuse so it's kinda pointless.

At first I have to agree with JC, but after a while he won me over. I enjoyed his appearance. I was surprised how funny he actually was. Small, little lines here and there. A- on his show up.

I love when the guests curse like Otto and George, Dane, etc. (and no I don't NEED curses to find things funny, but there are times that it helps the laugh) I wish O&A would let them fly more often like in the beginning of the CBS deal. That's what Al is there for. Those of us with XM would like a free-flowing show not a "How can I get this by the FCC" show. If it gets dumped on FM, so be it. If people want to hear it they can buy XM. It annoys me when Opie is like, "We're not on XM yet" or "I wish we were on XM for this". Do it, if Al misses it then fuck him. Do the show, don't tapdance around things ALL the time. I prefer the FM side for the fast pace as opposed to the eating, noise making, lets go home XM-only part, just without as much self-censoring.
Now all the kool-aid drinkers can bash on me for not accepting everything O&A do, but thats my opinion.

The only problem is, if Al misses a dump, then O&A get a 100-thousand-dollar fine. Not the station, not Al, them. That is a solid motivation to stay clean.

True, but wasn't that intended to fine the actual person uttering the profanity? I mean, that rule was meant to penalize "shock jocks" for obscenity, but if a guest does it after having been warned of the rule, isn't the guest liable instead of, or in addition to, the host?

I thought the idea of fining the talent never went through.. I think they just really increased the fines for the station.
