Thundercats, GI Joe, Transformers, M.A.S.K., Pacman, Spiderman and his Amazing Friends, He Man, Smurfs, Voltron. Hell I even made sure that I set the VCR to record X-Men when I was in high school, and college. Gonna get beat up for this probably, but I liked the Chipmunks as well, and I even watched that Mr.T one. Oh, and what was the one where the cheezy rock band got turned into cartoons, and they were trying to make it back to the real world? Yeah I watched that one as well.

Superfriends
Thundarr the Barbarian
Incredible Hulk/ Spiderman
Hong Kong Phooey
and yes, Popeye. He ruled! (Although Olive Oil had no boobs, hard to jack off to a cartoon with no boobs)
I used to like the Laff Olympics
The Scooby Doobys the Yogi Yahooeys and the Really Rottens? Come On!

Thundarr the Barbarian. Jack Kirby created the characters.
The original Batman Adventures when it was on Fox in the early 90's.
Star Blazers/Space Cruiser Yamato-I used to rush home from school to see the latest installment.
Warner Brothers cartoons, especially the ones made from 1945-1957.
Tom and Jerry, when they were made by MGM in the 1940's.
ANY Tex Avery cartoon.
The Batman cartoon that was on CBS as part of the Batman/Tarzan Adventure Hour.
Kid's Super Power Hour with Shazam!-they had a character named Punk Rock, who used his flying V guitar to knock criminals out.
The Tick-absolutely brilliant.
Freakazoid-sure, a tick knockoff, but had its moments, especially ED Asner as the police chief.
Ren and Stimpy-first season.
Mighty Mouse-the Ralph Bakshi version in the 1980's
Exo Squad-good sci-fi.

both X-Men and Batman series in the early 90's are classics, especially Batman. the X-Men one got kinda hard to follow after a while though since there were ongoing storylines that would pick up every week and if you missed an episode, you were screwed. plus, it didn't help that they'd run episodes out of sequence on occasion. so annoying.
i remember there used to be a Superman cartoon in the 80's that i think i'm the only one who remembers. i even recall an episode when Wonder Woman shows up. there were others too, like Pee Wee's Playhouse (if that counts as a cartoon, might as well have been), the two Sonic the Hedgehog cartoons (the cartoony one and the more serious one), Ninja Turtles, Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain...
anyone remember SNICK, with shows like Doug, AHH! Real Monsters!, All That, and Are you Afraid of the Dark? i don't even know if they still do SNICK since i haven't had cable in like 8 or 9 years. i remember staying up late on Saturday nights watching all those shows and then switching over to Mystery Science Theater 3000 and Beavis and Butthead.

oh, i forgot to mention The Real Ghostbusters. great show, i had the action figures and all that. i remember they tried to revive them with the Extreme Ghostbusters in 2000 (the "Extreme" means they're new, hip, and edgy :icon_roll), but it just wasn't the same, especially since a few of the characters were your typical stereotypes (the Hispanic kid who says hermano at the end of every sentence and the obligatory goth chick) and one of them was a fuckin' cripple!

Starblazers RULED!
A space-battleship w/ a giant gun out front? What could be cooler to a 7yr old (I think it came out somewhere around 1979 or so). I used to love that show, watched all the time. Side note--- What the hell was up with never seeing the captain's face?
Here's a good trivia / win a free beer at a bar question:
What was the name of the super-gun on front of the ship of the Starblazers cartoon?
Answer: the Wave Motion Gun
(That bit of useless info has won me many a free beer! Use this knowledge well...:icon_bigg )
Also a cartoon called G-Force was pretty cool, too! They always did this cool pyramid thing and beat all the bad guys!
YMMV-
---Tony
P.s. Here's a question that always bothered me: on Thundercats, why didn't the two twins "Wilykit and Wilykat" not age like the rest of the cats on their journey to "Third Earth"? That never made any sense to me. Plus Cheetara gave me wood! Rubbin one out to a cartoon cat woman at 12yrs old was difficult ---- always having to keep one eye out for my Mom or my sisters walking into the livingroom.
If I was Loin-O I'd be too busy fucking Cheetara to give a shit about Mum-Ra! Some of those Japanese animators are demented fuckers!

Re: Thundercats-there is a live-action trailer that a fan made. Decent quality, considering. The woman who plays Cheetara is drool-inducing.
Re: Star Blazers-the captain was an older, bearded man in an old-style captain's hat, and he smoked a pipe, and had a big, rounded nose.
The "G-Force" cartoon was called "Battle for the Planets" in the USA, and Casey Kasem did one of the voices. Mark, Jason, Princess, Tiny and Cheop.

Caroons you HATED but watched anyway (because a friend/sibling would watch it or because you were too lazy to change the channel).
Thundercats--Gee Lion-O, that eye of thundara would have been real useful 15 MINS AGO. Thanks for letting it escalate this far. Now we're stuck with a 1 in 100000 shot of you hitting the exact right place to release the Wilykats. Good thing you always hit it.
The Smurfs--I hated them because every other word was "Smurf". Then some stupid smurf, probably the same one who falls for Jokey's exploding birthday gift for the 5000th time, doesn't listen to what Papa Smurf says and gets himself captured by Gargamel. Papa Smurf then decides the make a daring rescue effort everyday instead of, say, MOVE smurfland a few miles further away from Gargamel and ditch the daily nuissance to do as a smurf does. After the rescue, a valuable lesson is learned.
The Snorks--No logical reason, they just always creeped me out.
