Wackbag.com Quick Rules
Everyone involved tries hard to keep Wackbag.com free of trolls, spam, flames, etc and keep WB a positive place to discuss O&A, R&F, and a variety of other topics, while at the same time trying to maintain the balance of an open and fairly non-restrictive community. Obviously as a publicly-accessible community we have guidelines of what is acceptable and what is not so we remain just that - a happy, vibrant community. These are just a small snippet of the rules, and all members and guests should read the full set of rules here (http://www.wackbag.com/faq.php).

1. No personal attacks / Member Bashing (http://www.wackbag.com/faq.php?faq=new_faq_item#faq_new_faq_item2)
2. No personal information (http://www.wackbag.com/faq.php?faq=new_faq_item#faq_new_faq_item3) about show members (unless discussed on the air).
3. No Illegal Activities (http://www.wackbag.com/faq.php?faq=new_faq_item#faq_illegal_faq)
4. No spam (http://www.wackbag.com/faq.php?faq=new_faq_item#faq_spam)
5. Avatars and signatures (http://www.wackbag.com/faq.php?faq=new_faq_item#faq_new_faq_item_sig_pics ) deemed distracting or inappropriate may be removed without notice.
6. No Post Whorring (http://www.wackbag.com/faq.php?faq=new_faq_item#faq_new_faq_item4)

Interpretation of these rules is at the sole discretion of the board staff, and all decisions are final. If you have a concern or would like clarification of any of these rules, please contact a moderator via PM.

Please note that these rules may change without prior notice.

-bump-

...because we seem to have a lot of new users recently.

These are just a few of the rules that we have always had and enforced. nothing has changed. Please abide by the rules while you are posting here.

Thank you.

This is just a copy of the Announcement which has been up for the last 15 months: (http://www.wackbag.com/announcement.php?f=94&a=38)

We have recieved many emails from members asking why they cant post a new thread.

We have tried to stay away from preventing new members from posting threads as long as we could, however it was getting a bit much to handle.

New users cannot start a new thread, this is based on a formula on both the time you've been a member and the number of posts you have. This gives you time to get the feel of the board before making a new thread. you CAN post in existing threads.

Once you have reached the threshold of the post/time formula, the board will automatically allow you to make a thread.

This threshold can be raised or lowered at any time.

Please do not "postwhore" to get your post count up since it is based on your time as a member also.

There is no rank system here, This is not about that. It's to keep the board running smoothly and uncluttered with the same topics. We had to put this in because it was getting really bad with all the new threads on existing topics.

Please take the time to read the FAQ, and the various stickies in general discussion.

Thank you for your understanding.
