Just got home from the Devils game. I go to about ten games or so a year and always hear at least one O&A party rock at the game, but tonight was a mad house of O&A fans. Countless Party Rocks all night, alot of Paul R nelsons, a wouldja, even a phenomenal, and a shit load of wake up with Whoopies. Loved the guy with the O&A pests Devils jersey that was getting shit thrown at him toward the end by a Howard fan. Wanted you to turn around and have the place explode on the guy. Also a wow sticker in the mens room and urinal. Great showing, their popularity is growing.

There's been a big O&A representation at Devil games for some time now. I remember the band that played for their 2000 cup celebration had a big WOW on their drum head. There were pictures on foundry way back then of all the O&A representation at the arena for that cup run.

The fans from section 218 are probably the biggest supporters, and even have their own website, www.letsgodevils.com. They're pretty much pests at the arena, doing shit to piss off visiting teams' fans and the nazi-esque sports authority that runs the place and makes it a miserable experience for anyone who goes there.

That is awesome. Do your chants ever make it to the television or radio audio broadcasts? I didn't plan on catching the Islander/Devils game this Thursday, but now I think I might have to.

I'll be watching Canucks/Wild on TV and listening to NYI/NJ on XM 209 -- so scream at the top of your lungs, please. Would it be possible to hear a "All The Way May" chant?

Proud member of the 8269 club. That's the smallest non-blizzard crowd in over 13 years. The meadowlands is a cunt, ask Opie. Attendance is down league-wide. The JD Blues have 9000 every night, the Blackhawks and Islanders have 8000 regularly, the Avalanche have had non sellouts for the first time pretty much ever, and the Rangers continue to lie about their "sellouts".

Ill be done going to as many Devil games as I go to now once they're in Newark... Too bad its all over after this season. MAYBE Ill get to the home opener...
We had some really memorable tailgates at the Brendan Byrne...
Its just not going to be the same down there and cant see how it can be a better time...

I go to more than 10 home games a year plus playoffs, pretty good for a college student from Ocean County. The Devs drew 14,200 against the Panthers, the numbers will rise as the season continues. Again, the Isles regularly have 8,000, the Devils fell into that club for one night. The attendance will rise with the new arena and mass transit next season. The Sabres were drawing 12,000 fans a night a few years ago (almost moved too) and now they sell out regularly. How about we talk about the fact that its Devils/Rangers tonight.
