Just got word from EB Games. Halo 3 has been scheduled to be released in the beginning of November 2007. There will be three editions. The regular editions, the collector's edition, and a legendary version. I can hardly wait for some new Halo goodness.

screw that. i'm getting the plain ol' regular version. i bought the limited edition of halo2 the one that came in the snazzy tin box with the extra dvd and guess what.....i never even bothered to look at the DVD that came with it.

For most games, I'll buy the regular version, but this is the Halo series. I'll plunk down the $100 for the legendary version (as it comes with a replica Master Chief helmet).

For the record, watch the bonus DVD that came with the Halo2 Collector's Edition. Lots of good material in there. Especially if you have any interest in how a game is developed. It's not a boring watch.

The "Legendary" version is $100 but for that you get this almost life-sized Master Chief Helmet which contains 5 DVD's worth of stuff (art, making of, the game, etc etc).

The price may seem steep but I have the feeling it'll be worth a shitload as a collectable if they do a limited run.
