It's now out. Anyone else picking this up?

I just started playing and so far the PC version is bringing my system to its knees. It certainly not the engine graphics as they aren't much better than Most Wanted which my rig ran like a dream. Looks like a Memory leak or something as I've turned down all the options to medium and its still runs choppy as hell.

The in-game cut scenes are cheesier than ever but i don't think I've ever played a NFS game where they weren't.

The upside is they have muscle cars this time out. (the new Dodge Challenger and the Shelby Mustang are two examples).

i played the demo on the 360 and i enjoyed it. i just wish they would get rid of the drift racing, not a big fan of this Japanese fad. ill pick it up after i beat Splinter Cell: Double Agent.

I was going to skip it because NFS:MW got boring. But then I heard about the muscle cars and saw this Screenshot:

Does it still rain every five minutes? In Most Wanted and Underground 2, it seemed to rain almost every 5 minutes. It gets fucking annoying.

Digging up a 2 year old thread to say that my sister got me this game as a gift and I can't shut it off, its fuckin awesome. It is the reason why it is now 2am and I'm still awake.

<young Jimmy voice> Hey, leave him alone! </>. I liked this game, finished it in one weekend with a buddy of mine. There might be better games out there, but I don't play many driving games. This one was fun and looked great.
