Fifa 07

Anyone else grab it yet?
It's essentially FIFA 06 with a bunch of little tweaks here and there.

and I am not a gigantic soccer fan (I'm a big Celtic fan though. Kenny Miller rules), but I love a good soccer game.

Lots of new game modes. And they have enhanced the manager mode a lot.
Good stuff.

I would love to have more game options though, so 07 is tempting. The World Cup Edition was outstanding, however you couldn't do anything else on it really...which sucks

i got 07 for 360 and i highly recommend it, only for 360 anyways.
they completely rebuilt the engine and gave player and ball much improved physics. i'm a huge soccer game fan, and winning eleven used to trump this game on gameplay, but fifa used to always win with crowd and ambient noise. the 360 version is completely different from prior versions, but the ps2 version and other systems are just like previous fifa releases.

fifa and winning eleven are both in the UK and many have said that winning eleven has not updated their gameplay, just the same good engine. I think fifa is a great pick up if you like soccer, or realistic play. the presentation, gameplay and crowd are outstanding

and xbox live runs extremely smooth, if you and your opponent dont have whack connections(i've played several games as if they were not online)

i liked winning eleven...9? their latest one.
I actually rented that for some time before I bought Fifa...for me, it was something about how the game was played...it seemed a little more smooth than W11...maybe it's just the fact that EA games are embedded into my soul...who knows

the last winning eleven was very good, the last three i say, have been better than fifa, as far as the actual gameplay. fifa has always been better on the front end, and with crowd chants and noise. This fifa is good, but not perfect, but really fucking solid man.

I have it for 360 and it's OK at best. theres no MLS, and it seems all the games are in the same stadium!!! Also EA has this thing with all their sports games to make menus really difficult to navigate, like they took their cue from Foundry Music.

The controls are ok, but why can't I just play and not worr about having to use the advanced controls. This is why Winning Eleven has kicked FIFAs ass year after year. I hope Konami makes a 360 version of winning eleven.

winning elevens controls are much more complex, and yes there will be a 360 version of it, its already out in england, supposed to be here either december, but probably january. a lot of people have bashed it because, while the gameplay is the same(which is still good), it has almost the same graphics of the first xbox.

limited teams was really a huge flaw for this fifa, i dont particularly like it, but my favorite team, arsenal is there, so i dont care too much. mls is weak anyway, just as weak as mexico, they should have put the portuguese or eredivisie in there brazil and argentina have decent leagues too.

This seems the trend with EA lately...make a good game for Sony and be chincy with the 360, yet have the balls to charge $60 for something they did half-assed.

either give the next gen people more or at least make the SAME game with the SAME features for all platforms
