Motley Crue lead singer Vince Neil told ABC News Radio in an exclusive interview that the 63-year-old Oscar-winning actor will make a cameo appearance as Osbourne in "The Dirt," a movie based on the band's controversial 2001 autobiography.

"How funny is that going to be," Neil told ABC's Al Mancini at the Opening of Vince Neil Ink, the singer's new tattoo parlor in Las Vegas.

Walken's press representatives did not immediately return a call to ABCNEWS.com for comment.

"The Dirt: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band" set new limits in tell-all confessionals. The 448-page tome catalogues the drug and alcohol abuse, nasty infighting, and sex parties of Neil and band mates Tommy Lee, Mick Mars and Nikki Sixx.

The film, announced in April, is now in preproduction and is expected to be released in 2008 by Paramount and MTV. It's been billed as a true-life version of "This Is Spinal Tap."

I think it would be hard playing yourself, because if they did a movie about me, and i starred as my self i would def lie about a few things and if I were questioned about it, I'd say 'oh yeah, thats right, you were there'

so its good that they don't especially if they have parts where they are total dicks at some point of their life.

Also, i don't think ozzy would be a good actor.

Jimmy never actually saw Walk the Line did he? I finally did and it was alright. I don't think Norton would hate it as much if he watched it.

A movie? I know ill get slammed for this, but wtf? not enuff money sharon. when does it end? we grew tired after the show. and being a fan there isnt much I dont know about ozzy. why would I go see this. I predict mediocre to flop.

also I personally think sharon is tired of ozzy. and shes working him till he falls over.

IMO...Walken = Radio Gold

I heard him in an interview a few years back in New Orleans and the man has some of the best stories. I think he would fit almost too well with the boys.

i am guessing you didn't read the book? because they say in the book that they fucking hated sharon and that she was a bitch.
there was a part in the book about touring with ozzy, which included the best story. that is why ozzy is going to be in the movie.
also the movie i don't think will be that good and i am obsesed with motley crue, the book is too graphic and good to be a movie.
can't wait to see christopher walken snort an ant hill though:clap:
