believe me, I'm all for waiting for a game until its polished and bug free but jesus christ, how can Valve be so consistently off on their ship dates? Like the original game it will be almost a year off from what they originally announced.

I'm such a goddamned fanboy of this series though that I'll be waiting for it if it took another 5 years .... :rolleyes:

I'm with you Hump. Valve is the biggest cocktease around they know no matter how long it's delayed we'll still buy it. I just replayed HL2 and Ep.1 and still think this game is the best PC game ever. After seeing all the teaser vids I actually thought they were close to releasing this Christmas. ARGGGHHH.

wasn't it originally ep. 1 in june, ep. 2 in december, and ep. 3 like next summer? would be sweet if they stuck to a deadline.

It's probably TF2 that is causing the delay. Hopefully they will wise up and just ship Episode 2 on it's own sooner.

But somehow I doubt it.....

I would rather they have done HL2 and then did HL3 in a few years with better graphics and gameplay rather than just story additions to the same game.
