I was watching VH1 a few minutes ago and they were plugging upcoming shows. Well anyway, they showed that Jim Bruer is the new host of Web Junk. Anyone heard anything about this?

patrice is much funnier as a "stand-up" (he sits on a stool and trashes the audience for about an hour) than he is in those clips. I took my girl to his show last year at helium and she loved him. he is so fucking raunchy and brutal that it hurts to laugh at times. his finale last time was a five minute tirade on fingering while fellating his girl. i like him on webjunk, but it didn't compare to his stand-up.

What the fuck.....? Dude, you do realize there's a few things he can't do on VH1 as opposed to a comedy club. according to the VH1 website, it's a new show, labeled Web Junk 20: ep. 1
If you click on the all episodes tab, it only brings up that one. It's like they are pretending the Patrice version never existed.

That sucks that they took the show away from Patrice. He was pretty good on it. I'll never watch the Breuer version. The only real reason I watched WebJunk 20 was to see Patrice on it.

I would much rather he host the Black Philip Show, but I guess that's pretty much dead also, although I would absolutely listen to every show if Patrice started the relationship advice show again.

Don't know if anybody watched, but Webjunk did a Best of 2006 wrap up last night. It was really interesting because Jim was hosting now, but they had to show Patrice commenting on many of them, and Jim doing some of his from the more recent episodes. It was amazing the difference between the two. Jim was NOT funny in most of his comments. I did chuckle a few times, but that was about it. When Patrice was on, I was laughing so hard my wife, who was trying to sleep, told me to shut the fuck up. It looks like the wrap-up episode will reair a couple more times, the link for the schedule is here:

This is correct. You could easily see when the two comics alternated like that. Patrice was hillarious; Jim, just alot of shoulting, funny noises, and exaggerated gestures. But overall, the show is g-h-e-y queer.
