So I pick this game up yesterday and played it for about a hour or so and I think its pretty good. I played the hell out of the last one and this one is very similar. The new control system is alright, it takes some getting used to but I feel the best way is to create a guy and then create his moves and that always helps get the ontrols down (for me anyway). They also vastly improved the CAW entrance creator you can now tell the pyro when to go off and changing the camera angle is way easier. The legends they put in the game are very cool, gotta love the Hart Foundation and Mr Perfect (Curt Henning not Earl....oh wait he lost :icon_mrgr ). Overall its seems to be a good buy for any wrestling fan and the graphics on XBOX 360 are amzing.


Oh and if anyone has a code or something to unlock everyone I will gladly take it becuase Id rather just have them start unlocked then have to do the dumb challenges to use them.

Hahaha, anyway, I think that Wackbag needs to make a belt, and we all register a character, and have some title matches, and tournament shit going on with both the boards. This could be fun as SHIT.

I have one rule though, for the FBA World title, and I suggest it for the Wackbag title, only defend it against people on FBA or Wackbag, so it stays with US.

I have a thread at FBA where we are registering for a "league" type thing, I suggest someone take the helm here if you choose, create a title, and lets have some fun for bragging rights!

I'm using a measly CAW in season mode with a score of like 42, and I've slammed the fuck out of Big Show and Viscera. I'm only about 4 matches in. No problem throwing a punch either.
That's on PS2, but that shouldn't matter.

I bought it and only played a few matches. Liking the game so far. Change the control type to D if you're having trouble getting use to the new system. That's what I did.

ah, I guess its like the ranked matches on GOW. You can't invite people into Ranked Matches. That stinks. Can you trade the title between people like you dod with Superstars? Because then we could have the match and then just trade the belt to that person.

If you have a 360 and are playing it on that consider yourself lucky. I rented and the load times on PS2 are sometimes longer than my matches over all fun game and i think I only have about 60% of the controls figured out.

Well I finshed the belt awhile ago but as me and Doug have found outthey have now way of playing for the belt with friends. You have to do a ranked match but you can't invite someone into a ranked match so it doesn't work. If anyone has a suggestion on how to do it Im all ears.

i havnt played this game for xbox but i have it for ps2, if your buying a ps2 for this game, dont even bother. theres so many glitches in it...its same game as last year but with a new grappling system and more glitches. the commentary is the same as last year, they say all the same shit and they cant even get the wrestler right. We were playing a diva match and Lawler goes "look at that face on chris masters" and I hit someone with a chair and JR said "He gave him the Stone Cold Stunner!" then I was doing the 10 pounch in the corner and they were like "hes slamming his head right into that table!" Its sickening how way off it is considering I neve ran into that problem in last years game. It happened so much and so often i turned commentary off, figured probelm solved but i was wrong. Like I said I dunno about 360's but playing online is glitch mania and theres a hit n run glitch and if you ever play against someone doing it you cant win..

they run at you and hit u and wait for you to get up, then they time it right to run at you and duck behind, (I dont think the duck is reversable anyway, but they time it so they do it when your not fully standing so you dont have control of your wrestler yet, infact it still says "Tap any button repeatidly" where it would tell you what reversal to do) now that leaves u dizzy and it still says tap any button repeatidly so now they can give u a move again without you being able to reverse it and then they wait for you to get up and repeat..repeat, repeat, repeat, rapeat, finisher...you lose..

my advice, stick with guitar hero..

oh and to the xbox 360 players, in a ladder match do people just randomly show up at the top of the ladder??
