Well it starts at 2pm est on Thanksgiving. It's going to be inconvient for alot of people to get on the internet at exactly that time. And I've been on 2 Madden sites where everyone is talking about the PS3 and nobody has mentioned this 360 deal so I think if you want it and get there at 2pm theres a pretty good chance you'll get it.

Maybe I'm just being too optimistic, but judging by the comments on the Amazon page, it looks like a fair amount of those people don't want the XBox to be chosen. On top of that, don't forget this is Thanksgiving day we're talking about; a lot of the people who say they're going to be "in front of the computer, ready to click" are going to be yelled at by a relative in the other room to make sure the turkey doesn't burn.

If you can get to a computer at the time, it's a hell of a deal. No harm in trying, and if you do the math:

Normal XBox 360 Core System: $299 (includes Composite Video cables, one wired controller)

XBox 360 Premium Bundle: $399 (includes Component Video cables, 20GB hard drive, wireless controller, XBox Live Headset and a face plate)

XBox 360 Core System at Amazon Holy Fuck Price: $100

Now, if you add in what you need (Wireless controller at $40, Hard Drive at $100) you're still getting a big discount.

Well I have to work thanksgiving anyways so I'll just get up at 1:50pm instead of my usual 3:30pm and hopefully get myself a 360. I don't really care about the HD stuff and I can always get a wireless controller later. Only downside to this is if I end up getting one, it'll put my plans of gettin a Wii in a few weeks back a lil bit. Cause while the system is only gonna be $100 I soooo am gonna get 2-3 games and a extra controller.

I'm not trashing it. I'm just saying I'm too used to the stardard conrol type. I don't think I could adjust to a remote control wired up to a joystick that fits around your finger.
Who knows though. I have a buddy getting one the day it comes out, so I'll get a chance to try it.

I just tried getting on and Amazon has completely stopped loading at 1:57. It's not that big of a deal to me, since I would rather have a Wii right now, but they had to know their site was going to get slaughtered.

Don't worry I got on at 1.01 pm here my time in Texas, and I got to a verification screen then it gave me a nice GO FUCK YOURSELF WE'RE SOLD OUT screen.
