Does anyone do this?...I know of direct2drive or whatever but those games cost about as much as they do in the store...are there any sites that have all the new PC games for a one time fee?
im looking for call of duty 2
age of empires
railroads, etc...
i might just pony up the dough for direct2drive but id like to see what else is out there
Steam does this but only for Valve releases.
Gamefly.com does direct mail for a monthly subscription-based system.
+ Alcohol 120% or no-cd cracks
= can play offline as much as you want.
You can also wait for the prices to drop in a year if you don't want to waste your money.

STEAM isn't limited to just Valve and/or Source engine releases. Theres a couple of Unreal engine based games among others. Sid Meirs "Pirates", Medevil II: Total War, GUN, Heroes, X3:Reunion, City Life, etc.
