Anyone pick this up?

I'm anxious to hear about it. I hear its glitchy, but I also have heard it's as good if not better than Oblivion.

I bought the game yesterday. Laggy as hell. Graphical glitches abound. Load times when you start the game and when you reload a saved game are horrendous. (2-3 minutes to start and about a minute for a re-load) Saving a game takes nearly as long. I have to run the game at 1024x768 and in "Low" graphical settings to get even decent fps. It says there are no loading times, but the game comes to a screeching halt at certain points in the world where it loads the next area. If it happens during a fight, you're dead when it stops lagging.

Gameplay seems like it would be OK, but the negatives outweigh the positives.

My rig is as follows:
Athlon XP 3200+
1.5GB PC3200 DDR
Radeon X850 Pro
and the usual extras.

I'd say hold off until they put out a dozen or so more patches. By the way, I play Oblivion at 1280x1024 at high settings with no problems at all.

Maybe try Batlefield 2142 instead. I played the demo at a friend's house. looks great and plays well on his 3200+, 1GB PC3200 and Radeon 9800 XT

It's gotten terrible reviews from some sites, and amazing reviews from other sites.

I have no idea if I want it or not. The reviews are either one extreme or the other.

Cut back on the games, buy some vodka, skip the weed.

I've tried the demo. I couldn't fucking stand it. Pretty much what NSF said, and i'll add the combat is fucking dull.
