Making a Podcast

I have Garageband on my mac and I want to make a podcast.

But how do I make it an MP3?

My only options are publishing to iWeb, whatever that is

Or publishing it to iTunes.

I just want to save an mp3 or m4a file, not publish my lil thing to the world. Well actually I want to put it in one of those mini players for my MySpace.

So how do I do that?

Use Audacity to record and encode into mp3
host on a free file to host the files.
use a free blog service.
add links to the hosted files on the blog
