Printer Problem

Ok guys i am having trouble getting my printer to work. Everytime i try to print it gives me a error message that says there was a error writing to LPT 1, The printer is not ready, Make sure its turned on and online. Ok sorry Diceman i called Epson this morning they helped me with the problem. A driver wasnt loading properly.
