I've been running XP professional beta 2 for the past 2 months. Its fast as hell, looks better, boots MUCH faster, less crashes, better memory managment, and a lot of other changes... too much to list

when I use win 98 (which I have on my laptop) it seems old and slow compared to xp.

my opinion? Best Operating System I've ever used..

Hear, hear! :) I'm not running Windows XP Pro Final Release Gold and it's nice! God, I don't think I can function my PC without it!

But if you're going to do use it, install onto a fresh HD.
