Don't wanna tear down the 17th wall... but there is no controversy. Rolling Rock just wants people to think there is. They're hoping for a viral marketing campaign where everyone's like "what ad are they talking about? I wanna see it..." It's actually a clever way to advertise when you think about it.

Plus, Rolling Rock is capitalizing on the whole politically correct mentality in society lately. "Oh we offended people, we're sorry."

It's actually brilliant. How many people are gonna buy Rolling Rock next weekend, just to try it and see what the fuss is about?
