Why does Jim Florentine never do the show? I know he used to do Hoo Hoo a lot, is this a case of the ole cock block?
This may have been addressed on the show, but I haven't heard it in the 10 months I've been listening.

I guess I get that, that he's Howard's guy, but if history has shown comedians anything it's that Hoo Hoo doesn't give a fuck.
To the best of my knowledge, he's just a guest occasionally on the Stern show. He doesn't have a show, or wasn't even on regularly two or three years ago when I listened.
Why doesn't Florentine do both? No balls says I. Tell Howie that's the way it is, it'll help his career.

Wondered this myself. It's never addressed and I have a theory. Florentine is afraid of being black balled by fuckhead, and O&A don't address it out of respect for Jimmy. O&A fans are some hardcore, comedy going mother fuckers. We support those who bring us joy, and Florentine should recognize this untapped resourse and do both shows.

I like Florentine but he's always been a Howie guy, even if it means that he doesn't have anyone to listen to his plugs.

Don't worry, pretty soon word will get out that appearances on Stern do not fill comedy clubs anymore. Then the tide will turn, as Howie won't have any bargaining chips. The reputation built in 1992 is running out VERY fast.

I remember it pretty clearly - it was right after the Letterman appearance, HooHoo didn't see the appearance, so Artie saw it, filled him in, talked about how they bombed and weren't funny at all. It was right around the time his shitty movie was coming out too. Then Ant went off on Artie for the entire show (FreeFM + XM), and Jimmy STFU during that entire time, I remember I was listening to see if Jimmy would say anything. Usually Artie STFU towards ONA just like Jimmy does, as a truce, but I'm guessing HooHoo put him up to it.
