I am not a trouble maker..I love Jay's roles in other movies, Vegas and Medium. I understand..sometimes it is for $$ or for the kids or something you believe in. But please, don't think you are above being busted on for choices.
If Clooney were a friend of the show, do you think that he could escape being in the barrel for one second for being on Facts of Life, or for doing that movie where he danced in drag? I say nay!

Correct me if i am wrong but didn't you say on Dinner for Five to Favreau that you were done with TV and Stand-up. Now you are doing both again.

Let me put it this way:
SNL, Jerry Maguire, Suicide Kings, Small Soilders, Mafia!, 200 Cigarettes, Go, Action, Simpsons, Simon (working with pacino), Scrubs, West Wing, Family Guy.

No other person on the show has done as many good projects, or for that matter, even come close. The only person half way there is Bob Saget. Although it seems that Saget's career is taking off right now. He is in that new game show, how i met your mother, and a new owen wilson movie.

While we can trash jays movies for being terrible, we can't trash his decisions to be in them. It's like making fun of a millionaire who starting working in Burger King. You do what you have to do in order to get by. I respect that. I just don't respect Pluto Nash. Although, to do a movie with Rosario Dawson guess I would take that bomb.

No one can argue with Jay's body of work (or the body of his girl), but I think the point he's trying to make is it's not easy to put yourself out there the way you have to in his business because you can't just do projects you want to. And it sucks when you go to a message board and see your work being made fun of all the time, even if it's just some good natured ribbing. Until Jay gets Mel Gibson money and he can blow off a nice paycheck and stick to only the projects he wants to, people should lay off him. A niggas gotta eat.

If you really want to be able to make fun of everything Jay does then you should give overwhelming support to everything he does now. The guy is one of the most natural actors out there. I've seen Jay in a lot of stuff and even though I know him I never feel like I'm watching a friend of the show acting. He always pulls off the roll. Fuck the material. It doesn't always have to be Academy Award winning shit. Jay is way under rated in Hollywood.
