Not a great bunch of christmas movies this year.. i guess the upcoming summer movies will makeup for this lackluster christmas. the film which i REALLY want to see is coming out in jan(Smoking Aces).

black christmas is going to be fucking awful..i love horror movies but this will just be a hacky attempt at a horror movie...i went and saw turistas last week and im sure that will be much better than black christmas

Isn't the 2nd part of Clint Eastwood's WWII movie coming out as well? I would vote for that if it were part of the poll. Instead, I voted for Rocky Balboa. Trash it if you want, but I've really missed fun movies like this.

The only movies I'm really excited about aren't coming out till '07 (Spiderman 3 and 300), so I had to vote Rocky Balboa. After all, who actually looks away when they see a horrible accident?

yeah i voted for Rocky too. as bad is it probably will be, it's gotta be better than V. i'm a big horror fan, but Black Christmas looks like just another overly gory, cheesy slasher film. and i know it's a remake, it's just a remake with more gore. and the rest of the choices i can't get really excited about, i'm sure Happyness and Dreamgirls are probably great films since they're generating Oscar buzz, but what was the last Oscar-worthy film sent people to the theaters in droves? Titanic? you know you're going to see them eventually, but you're not gonna rush out to do so. as for Eragon, i never read the book and i'm not really into the whole medieval "swords and sorcery" kind of stuff. it just seems like a movie like that comes out around this time every year since the Lord of the Rings. Hollywood smelled blood so they're cashing in.
