saw a little of Lewis Black, but turned it off cause I wanted to see it from the beginning. I could care less about Patton, but I like Black and Giraldo. Did it all suck, or just him

I also think that lewis black and giraldo are both very funny, but comedy central tried to make it appealing to everyone and mostly had tonight show type jokes and really didn't have any balls

they tried to paint patton oswald as the angry comic who was so fueled by this years shittiness that he might just go on a rant :icon_eek: !

the worst part about it was at the end they had a question and answer section with all three (lewis, greg and patton). They tried to make it seem spontaneous and at the moment, when it was so hideously pre-scripted and edited...utterly disgusting

I've seen worse. Lewis Black had some decent material, but Giraldo seemed a little off his game at times.

Maybe I'm nuts, but I really liked Patton's riff on those stupid KFC "Famous Bowls." That whole advertising campaign was retarded.

i hate that vibe too, and especially when they showed the people laughing in the crowd like we're supposed to laugh at that because comedy central says thats what we should find funny. i want to see a real audience...i dont want to see a bunch of sheep giving sympathy claps if its not funny (like letterman)...a big part of standup is bombing and handling hecklers but apparently not according to comedy central

I mentioned the mindless laughing of the audience in relation to every word spoken about our shitty president. never once did i say anything close to W being good at his job. I just got douche chiils watching the whole thing. I'm a big fan of both Black and Giraldo, but it seem they didn't have one joke in both their routines. I mean I understand how Comdey Central, can cock bock comedians, but it was painful to watch the two of them. Also watching it made me realize how much I hate Los Angeles audiences who lap up every anti Bush statement and either can't think for themselves or who shoud realize like Colin Quinn once said, you laugh and appauld at jokes.

I laughed about 3 times during the whole hour. The KFC Bowls (who the hell eats that shit?), starting Xmas season in October, and you're allowed to be anti-semetic based on your level of fame.

Notice how for a special on '06 they really didn't spend much time talking about it. See how many things from the opening montage (montage) didn't even get a mention. If it wasn't Bush or the War it wasn't worth talking about.

Anyone else get a massive douche chill watching that political ad where the congressman doesn't touch children? Haven't seen a bad bit try so hard to be funny since Son Of The Beach went off the air.
