No, because O & A don't run the board.
There is a time frame between posts where new users can't post back to back to prevent post whoring.

This is a private, fan run message board. O&A don't make the rules, we do. If some guy walked into your house and started to call your wife or mother a cunt, you wouldn't allow him to continue because telling him to shut up would be restricting his free speech and be against what O&A stand for, would you?

Does wackbag cripple user accounts or not? There are restrictions for newer users. It forces them to familiarize themselves with the board before posting too much and restricts attack attempts.
Edit: looking at your usergroup, you shouldn't have tose restrictions. If your having problems with your account I would PM Zagman and see if he can help you.

I think that is something with your connection/isp/browser/computer - your account is no different than 3/4 of the accounts here. Perhaps you're viewing the site through a proxy of some sort, and that is slowing it down?

I've been banned from this board for months for fighting with someone who is, himself banned now, and I still have never had a problem with loading pages, etc. Well, I was exiled to the detention room and wasn't let out for half a year, but same difference. Don't think that you are somehow smarter than everyone else. Your agenda was pretty clear and playing a victim, well, without having any cause for it, showed some sort of grievance with us for some unknown reason that is not settled. Please do not be afraid to tell us what you would like changed but don't try to hide it is as some scheme that is ill conceived and you cannot follow through with. If you have a problem, we would like to contact us personally and discuss it with you before you do something foolish. I know some of the policies on wackbag might seem wrong but let us explain to you why they are in place.
If you feel that you can do this, we will probably unban you.
New posters have some posting restrictions due to the facts that some people do need get a feel of wackbag and we need to get to understand them and by seeing how the new member post, we can better accommodate that person. The voting restrictions are for only those with the smallest numbers of posts and have been here for the shortest period of time and are automaticly removed after a person has passed the bar. If you have trouble posting a new thread, please contact a moderator that is online at the time an explain what you would like to add.
During infrequent Peak Times, wackbag may experience some sort of lag times which may be corrected by going into the bare-bones Pat Battle Mode(PBM). This is only temporary and some features will not function at those times. On other times it may just be your connection to the Internet. Whatever the case, this is only a message board. We try to make it as interesting and fun as possible.

Yes they do. I have had the same problem. If you voice your own opinion and that goes against what the majority believes, they don't ban you, but they put you on some kind of list as to where the site runs very very slowly.
It will take several attempts to log in and you will need to post 10x for it to take.
Simply put, nothing against wackbag, but there is no such thing as free speech.
Free speech in this country at the very least is speech that doesn't offend anyone. If it offends someone's beliefs, then you are screwed.
Nothing is free in this world.

I am not sure what the problem is with you guys.
Some people are for free speech and the freedon of expression, regardless of the moral value.
I remember when the guys were thrown off the air for the St. Pats cathederal, I thought that bit was excellent and they should NOT have been thrown off the air.
People get offended too easily and they want to gag the person that upset them rather than deal with it and follow their own beliefs.
I don't care how wackbag runs their site, it is just another site that sensors what is said, just like everywhere else.
