I thought everything before Tony and everything after Tony was particularly good. The Tony stuff was just bad all around. I get that the intention was to make fun of him, but the show was a lot more fun when it was just Than and Sam talking to each other rather than having the shitty third wheel who should never speak on radio, even as a caller, on the air.

I really must say, than behind Ronnie, Fezzie, Op and Ant, the teams of Billy Burr and Joe DeRosa as well as Than and Sam are better than any radio I've ever heard outside of mid-90s Howie.

And I like Patrice and he's a great third mic/guest on O&A, but he falls into the category of one of the guys who you'd think might be really good on his own show but just couldn't pull it off. I think making it into a relationship advice show and having that awful woman in there didn't help much, though.

I just got XM Radio this Christmas. I heard Than & Sam's show. It was ok. I had trouble getting into it because the one guy sounded a lot like HOward Stern (who I cannot stand). Nothing against Than or Sam, it just sounded too forced. Good luck on the show. Just don't replace O&A or Ron & Fez and we will all be fine.

I caught the tail-end of the show, from the final few minutes with Tony onwards.

I thought the quality was just about the same as the last show they aired -- that is to say, awful.

Look, Than, I know you're a funny guy. You have one hell of a dry, acerbic wit. But 90% of what I heard on the show was you saying "Yeah." Again. Didn't you even mention to E-Lo that this was one of your shortcomings?

The two of you together just have zero chemistry. Rather than actually talk normally and be yourselves about subjects, which is the formula which let shows like O&A and R&F rise to stardom, you continuously and facetiously bicker. You disagree with each other for the sake of disagreement, and rather dig deeper into various issues, you (especially Sam) just end up re-treading the same joke/point into the ground. The ONLY time the show has been funy, save for the few and far-between Than one liners, is when the two of you actually work together and just talk.

Treat the show like it's a hang at the bar or something. Drink alcohol. Fuck, do drugs live on the air. Pothead radio would be more entertaining than the two of you at present. I believe both of you are capable of producing good radio, or else you wouldn't be working for the boys, so why can't you do it for yourselves?


As for Big Kev's show, you might as well call it "60 minutes of talking about action figurines", but at least they're passionate about what they talk about it, and the conversations flow well. I can actually imagine like-minded people tuning in and finding the show interesting and wanting to contribute. Than and Sam, your show has nobody.

I tuned in for the last 15 minutes and that thought popped into my mind after 3 minutes. STFU you stupid retard.

Here are my thoughts...

Than sounded more natural and comfortable. I'm just not sure how his personality could work on a radio show. He's obviously constantly on vicodin and says dry and occasionally witty remarks. He's like British humor, only less biting, quick, and intelligent. Ok that was a bit much, because I know he has a good heart and he does a good job producing, I think he might work but with a different pairing.

Sam is a blithering idiot. He reminds me of the semi-normal kid who would hang out with the retards and condescendingly boss them around with disgust. Then lose his temper when they immediately didn't do what he said. He's not funny, he doesn't know what good radio is, he doesn't even play up the half negroid half white angle that has been built up for him. He's worthless. And he makes an bad pairing with Than, as mediocre as Than is, Sam is just play shitty.

Even their attempt to shit on Big Kevs went awry. No one who doesn't listen to Ron & Fez know who Pitzy is. Why not have Tony do the drawing? They didn't even make it funny because Pitzy is not funny.

I hope I'm not being overly negative, but I can only imagine that shrill cunt Francine will be a much better show than this one.

What the hell was the top five list at the end of the show. I almost shot myself in the head. Not only did the list suck, but more time was spent explaining number 5 than number 1. They show started good, but got worse and worse. That said though, I think the Than and Sam show was better than Big Kev's show. I expected I'd like Kev's show more, but, it was really boring. Better luck next time to both shows.

Well, I've got about half an hour to go on the second show, and damn... it was going along even better than the first show (and if you listened to the second show, you'll have heard Sam read my positive review about 6 minutes in), and then there was the Tony segment. The show has COMPLETELY fallen apart. Maybe it'll get better with 25 or so minutes left, but as soon as Tony came on the air the show completely fell apart. The Pittzy drawings saved it a slight bit during the time, but Jesus in heaven,
