I just looked up one of my all time favorite comedian Mr. Steven Write on Myspace... I noticed he writes everyone who adds him,,, dude has over 3000 friends. I know hes not setting the world on fire these days but, I see he has a new act, And I would love to see him on the show.

I can look past your spelling error, but to consider Steven Wright one of the greatest comedians of our time is unforgivable.

How old r u Duke? He was cream of the crop in his day. NOONE funnier at one point in my oppinion. His act was just old by these days and times, I am pretty excited to hear his new material... Some of the funniest shit Ive seen him do was adlib on Letterman. He commands excellent timing.

I loved the guy personaly. Always cracked me up.

His "I have a pony" CD is Comedy Gold. Very clever, origional and groundbreaking as no one did those kind of one liners much before him. His newest work on CC a few months ago, was not nearly as good. He seems to try too hard to be his old, bizare self, but lacks much of the cleverness. Some of it was good, much of it was not very good at all. He gets a pass though, it's tough living on one liners alone. Most comics pad thier acts with random, unfunny drivel. (Dane Cook anyone?) I'll remain a big fan of Mr Wrights.

i love steven wright, i waited on him in 1998 on block island. i made him laugh with one of my terrible waiter jokes. his date said making him laugh was actually pretty hard. its because i made fun of his date i think.
