VCR recording question???

Ok i have a question when i record a TV show on my new TV and new VCR it plays back fine and clear on my TV but if i was to go upstairs and watch it on the TV upstairs which is new also the picture is not that clear and i cant seem to fix the tracking.
I noticed at my friends house too but the tapes play fine in my house. What could i do to fix this?

I have the same problem. New 2 head VCR and an old 2 VCR top loader VCR. Try a heavy duty head cleaner on it several times. If thayt don't work, try contacting a repar shop.
