Kevin Smith drops O&A shoutouts in his Year in Askew Review

Kevin Smith's latest blog entry on myspace and at www.silentbobspeaks.com gives O&A a few mentions as he reviews the first half of 2006. He mentions both of his in studio appearances and includes a pic of the boys and lil Jimmy.

February- After a few call-ins over the years, I finally go in-studio with Opie & Anthony for the first time.

May- I head back to the states and go in-studio with Opie & Anthony for the second time, then shoot down to Red Bank, New Jersey for Vulgarthon 2006!


I'll update when he posts part 2, from the release of Clerks 2 to the end of the year. He's sure to have a mention about his verbal whupping of Joel Siegel.

Seems like a quality guy who's becoming a real good friend of the show, I think the relationship leads to some hilarious radio.

I dunno why, but I read this as Kevin Smith "drops" as in "DOESN'T", kinda confusing. Should say "GIVES".

July - - With mere days to go before the flick's opening, and nary a bump in the road thus far, I blow it by getting into a fight with Good Morning America movie critic Joel Siegel - first in the NY Post and then on the Opie & Anthony show. For me, it is - bar none - the only negative moment on the road of "Clerks II".
