Well Dave does this:
http://www.caughtintimephotography.com/kilt.jpg
since it has the McDonald family crest on it, Fez says it has this on it:

Should I not have a rod right now?

Not a big one....but enough to possibly be a problem.

If Dave is Irish, why is he wearing a kilt? I was having a beer this afternoon with some friends who are Scottish, they are very disturbed by this.

Personally, when the boss invites me out to dinner, I where the samething I wear to work everyday, why make them think I'm capable of dressing differently.

A suit, it always looks better when you slide the tab over to him when your in a suit. Especially a nicely tailored suit that says "hey, I got a few bucks too bitch", "but your picking up the tab Fucko".

I actually wore one of Mr. James Nortons "You stink, and I dont like you" shirts in december to my quarterly meeting with the big bosses... but I get away with murder at my job :).... I have a company issued uniform (somewhere), but instead wear nothing but jeans, addidas, and ozzy/motley crue/ ac/dc / assorted other non-approved attire. The only one I got a comment on was my "modern drunkard magazine" hoodie.

((any east coast people in the marine electronics industry looking for new people ? Im looking to get out of here.)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The history of the kilt stretches back to at least the end of the 16th century. Although the kilt is an item of traditional Scottish highland (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_highlands) dress, the nationalism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romantic_nationalism) of that tradition (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tradition) is relatively recent. It was only with the Romantic Revival (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romanticism) of the 19th century (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/19th_century) that the kilt became irreversibly associated with Highlanders, and was subsequently adopted by Lowlanders and the Scottish Diaspora. Other modern celts such as the Irish, Cornish, Welsh and Manx, have also adopted tartan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tartan) kilts in recent times, although to a lesser degree. Similar clothing had long been abandoned by related cultures such as Gauls (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaul), and Scandinavians (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scandinavia).
The word kilt comes from the Scots (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scots_language) word kilt meaning to tuck up the clothes around the body. The Scots word derives from the Old Norse (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Norse) kjilt, which means "pleated", from Viking (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viking) settlers who wore a similar, non-tartan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tartan) pleated garment.
Sooooo there ya go

Ummm... nope. I'm also Scottish, moved to Canada a few years ago. There is no way a Scot would be "disturbed" because someone non-Scottish wore a kilt. We're most known for wearing kilts, but even a proud and true Scot recognizes we didn't invent the bloody thing.
