It's not about if the pests like the music or not, its about O&A "discovering" a band. Need we be reminded of Opie almost discovering Godsmack? Its about publicity, and I think we can agree that any publicity for O&A is good publicity. Opie never even heard the CD, so they don't even know (to be fair, neither do we). As far as Jimmy goes, I tend to just roll my eyes whenever he talks like he's an authority on music, mostly because he's such a mark for Kiss, and refuses to like anything besides stuff from his childhood, but quickly attack anything else. I go to Earl or Ronnie for music talk, not Jimmy.

Cold War Kids are a great new up and coming band. OnA always bitch that they can't get any bands on there show and this is why: they are out of touch with music. The fact that Opie thinks Wolfmother was some underground thing is rediculous. The boys know television, movies, news and politics, but when it comes to music, they are way behind.
