I know Op' hates this shit, but has anyone else noticed that when on FM and a guest says something that will get dumped, Opie will do an extra long, fake laugh?
Obviously it's done to pass the time until the delay comes back, but it's something that drives me nut!

I notice it but I don't give a shit. If anything it makes those free fm douches know that they just missed something funny because if youve ever been listening on free fm when the show dumps, it just stops the sentence in the middle. Then all of the sudden someone else is talking. This way there is no conversation that is missed, except the funny line that everyone is laughing at.

I dont hear anything different with Opie and Anthony (except for potty talk), but Jimmy, good boy that he is, has REALLY had it with the Free FM bullshit and has not been afraid to bash CBS and its management.

He gives jabs almost every day.

A guy like Jimmy and Louis C.K. can't be held back by the restrictions.

I notice that Opie laughs a little longer, but really, do you think it's fake? He's laughing at something that gets dumped. Usually whatever gets dumped warrants an extra long laugh because it is goddamn funny! If he is milking it a little bit to cover the dump then so be it.

Regarding guests, it's natural for there to be less guests around Thanksgiving/Christmas - celebs celebrate the holidays too and the boys were off the last 2 weeks of the year. Why all the complaining?? They have given us some of the best radio in the past month and a half (box of cocks, half a hulk face donations (only 5 DOLLARS), busting up that old homeless guy's guitar, homeless shopping spree. Who gives a fuck about guests when the show is still hilarious? I didn't even notice.

Guess people will always find something to complain about.

It's time, as Opie says, to support Free FM. Long commercial breaks and self censored content are what we all need. You would be surprised how many great products advertise with O&A. Forget all of that crazy talk about rescuing other shows from commercial radio with their "golden tickets". A completely uncensored show would be just too edgy. Free Fm offers a castrated version of the show which is just what we need. Hey, with Al at the dump button you never can tell the mayhem that may ensue. Do you really need to hear the details of a story? With Free FM, you can leave those details all up to your imagination. You never know, if someone almost says a naughty word, we can all giggle like school girls at what was almost said. I think Opie is great, but his voice drives me insane. Especially after listening to some WNEW shows where he actually doesn't sound like he's impersonating the Hulk, doesn't stumble over every single, goddamn word and doesn't say "UHHM" between every 2 syllables. Opie's mic level has to be way higher than it is right now and could use some more isolated sound and compression like he had at WNEW.

Also, whoever is doing the mic levels and compression settings needs to tell Anthony to get his lips of the microphone because every "P", "F" or "T" sounds like a fucking hurricane.
