Anyone got any input on a good place to go in Vegas. It is not my first time there, and I have been to several of the venues. My last trip the comedy places were dead, and some of the comedians were hacky. I've seen a couple of headliners when I've been there, but mostly smaller venues.

I figured this was the best place to post this thread, if I'm wrong please move my thread.

Yes, I did check the dates of all the show "friends" and no one will be in vegas late March it seems.

Go with the big magician-comedians: Penn & Teller or the Amazing Jonathan.

Louie Anderson @ the Excalibur
Carrot Top @ the Luxor

That right there says it all about Vegas comedy. All the times I have ever been to Vegas only one time did I see a comedian worth the price of admission and that was Robert Schimmel. The rest are dried up old hacks catering to fucking rubes.
Yeeee haw honey lets go see this here Yakov Smirnoff guy he sounds topical and edgy.

Ditch the baggage and hit the strip clubs. If I'm throwing money away, I'd rather have some young tits in my face than staring at a 50-ish dealer in a cheap polyester vest that hasn't been cleaned in two weeks.

If that doesn't work for you and you want to do some site-seeing, you can always do the Hoover Dam, Red Rocks, or the Valley of Fire (though I swear I saw a UFO there). You can also go to Lake Mead and rent a jet ski or go ATVing in the desert. It's the summer, so the jet ski option is probably the better one.

Won't regret either of them.
I have seen P & T at least 20+ times in the last 15 years, always good stuff.

You saved yourself a hundred bucks a ticket by missing Danny Ganns. Very dated material. He's been doing the same act for 15 years.

I was recently told that Don Rickles is still a blast to see.... Might wanna considering his age ... could be a fading opportunity.

generally speaking, OnA types don't play Vegas that often, at least not for long engagments. The material doesn't play well for the ham and eggers. If you're looking for comics, stick to NYC, or maybe LA, Michael Richards, anyone.

Thnaks for the advice. I'm goin from the 25th or 26th through the 30th, guess I'll miss Jay Leno. I would have loved to see him live, I have heard he is really good.

I'll take all the advice to see Penn and Teller. I haven't seen them there before, so much to see and do in Vegas.

I just got back from Vegas and Carrot Top is currently at the Luxor. Personally, I find hin to be, like ESD a FAGGOT! I hate him and would rather chew tin foil than sit through one of his shows. HOMO!
