Blank Video Cassettes???

Here is a question i always wondered. Does it matter if you use a blank video tape and then re-record something over it?

Yeah. Everytime you record on top of something, the quality slightly degrades. You'll notice it after the 5th or 6th time you copy over.

What about the 1st time you record over something?

You won't notice unless you have a trained eye like a friend of mine
