Going to be in Vegas, any suggestions on things to do?

Hey Baggers.

A fairly lame business trip is bringing me to Vegas next week for 3 days. RV industry stuff, won't even get into that bullshit. You'll open your own wrists.

Anyway, I'm staying at The Paris and after the stupid show is over I'm just wondering if anyone has suggestions for cool shit to go see or do after like 7 PM or so. I don't want to say I went to Vegas for 3 days and stayed in my fucking hotel room playing World of Warcraft on my laptop.

Just some quick notes about myself. I FUCKING HATE musicals so please don't suggest shows like that. I don't gamble, it's pointless and retarded.

I would love to check out some sort of awesome displays, museums are fine, some sort of music stuff is decent and of course, amazing food is another idea.

I Stayed at Treasure Island which was baddass, just do the main strip, avoid the mGM grand because it sucked balls. Check out the Belagio it was the nicest of the hotels. Also check out the old strip. Its a drive from the new strip, but it has the old feel a vegas. Basically it has become the Atlantic City of vegas, and its a def must do

Go check out a couple shows. I've been to vegas in the past and I saw Penn and teller, which despite the idiocy of it all, is amazing. Also see Leno if he's in vegas. He's funny as hell and can come up with anything on the spot. Considering i'm still under 18 I'd have to say that besides gambling, shows are the next best thing.

OK, I have been to Vegas over a dozen times, but our tastes may be different. Here is a run down.

Free things to do and see (free) starting from your end of the strip and working your way down:

Bellogio hotel and water fountains. Nice hotel, and check out the fountains out front, but do it at night.

Mirage hotel and Volcano. Go inside and check out the lobby and rain forest and check out the volcano out front, but do it at night.

Right next door, TI sirens show. Pirate show that plays every 90 minutes. I liked the old one better, but they have hot chicks now, so that aint bad.

Across the street is the Venician. Go walk around in there, the second nicest casino IMHO. For a fee, you can check out the wax museum.

Down the block a bit, Wynn. By far the nicest casino I have ever seen.

If you like rollercoasters and thrill rides, go to the top of the Stratasphere. Insane rides on the roof. But only go there for the rides. The rest of the place is a shit hole, and if you do not plan on going on the rides, wave as you go past.

Downtown Freemont expierence. Go downtown and you can walk around the mall. It used to be Freemont St. If you ever saw U2's Still have'nt found what I am looking for video, you will recognize the street, but they put a roof over it and closed it to traffic. Some cheap places to eat and some strip clubs there too.

I have to go to work, so can not give you reviews of shows I have seen, but the "We will rock you" show in your casino (not even sure if it is still playing) was a musical (yeah, I know you said you hate musicals) set to Queen music. It was OK, worth seeing I guess. Convienent that it is in Paris for you.

Go to Freemont street for a night, cheap drinks, tables and woman. Watch the free light show every hour.

Also, Blue man group rules and Penn & Teller have a great show going on.

Oooh! Something I learned when I just went. All those Mexicans who stand along the sidewalk and hand out stripper cards are dealers. I just walked by and asked "Marijuana?" and was instantly hooked up..but haggle on the prices. Whatever they say, cut it in 2/3

If youre into golf there are a couple of lit up late night par 3 courses that are pretty cool. The Helicopter rides down the strip or even out to Lake Mead or the grand canyon are also pretty cool. Do yourself a favor and take others advice and go see the blue man group.

check out the Bodies the Exhibition (http://www.bodiestheexhibition.com/) at the tropicana. i checked it out in late november it was pretty fucking wild. the bbb-boys talked about it a while back. it's definitely worth seeing even though you have to walk through that putrid, stale smoke smelling hotel and casino to get to it.

That show is their rock tour. It's a different type of show then their Vegas show. It's still damn good but just a different show. That being said I'm going to their show in Atlantic City in March.

Yeah, Blue Man is the best show still playing. The two fags at the Mirage was hands down the best, until Roy did the Dafey Duck I can only do it once.
