You know what is up with that forum? Those people think they are what the show is based on. They think they are not only the shows, but what the shows are based around.

It's probably Ant's god project at this point as the characters there are so fully immersed in their characters and praise of themselves, kind of like how the movie industry honors itself with the Oscars. They strive for recognition and being mentioned on the show because they are little people in their real lives and paltalk gives them a reason to go on to the next day because they could be mentioned on the show.

Get over it. We're all fans of the shows and walking down the street, no one knows who any of you are. I walk by FH's all the time and the O and A fans vs. the paltalkers are apparently different. The latter assemble like Star Wars fans in that Triumph video and are no different. The others just go out, bullshit, have a good time, and that's it. The paltalkers want to be recognized as legit celebrities because their reality is what they do on the internet. That's why you see threads about honoring each other on the other forum, along with whoring for rep points. They are so into themselves and abstracted from the real world they don't know where the line between it and the fantasy is. Hell, when I called out that ripoff artist wackbagger that Wenzeled my friend, he ran from here and straight to that board, where his friends blindly defended him. One mod did at first, but then he let it be. The mods there are cool, but the users think they're bigger than everyone else.

Natas is actually correct but it was a temporary thing that Taz (the room owner was trying out). Its an auto-bot that is set up to automatically bounce anytime someone types whatever key phrases are specified. I finally broke down and gave it a shot this week. Wasn't all that impressed with what you get for the money you pay ($15 per month). If you know the regulars I suppose its a cool place to hang but as far as listening to the show its kinda sucks due to the inability to sound capture callers and recorded bits (though I'm sure someone will find a solution eventually). You can mute it and listen to the radio but the delay makes it less-than-optimal.

Some of the political discussion rooms can get lively but not as a fulll time thing. Of course if your idea of a great live video chat is to watch middle-aged Brits and Aussies yank all the live-long day then this is the place for you :action-sm

The live room is a clusterfuck. Good luck following any text, particularly if something unnusual is going on (like this week's live sex show).

The fan room, like any other chat room, has its ups and downs. At times it's clique-y; at other times people who have no clue about each other are babbling about anything and everything.

But this myth about Wackbaggers being ostracized is silly. Yes, there are some like Lee who will throw out some smart-ass comments, but most people could care less where anybody comes from. The only time I've seen a Wackbagger treated poorly is when somebody came in and introduced themselves by saying, "I'm from Wackbag. Am I going to be bounced?" They weren't bounced, but they were fucked with for awhile.

Yep... same experience with the fan room here. It stinks. I've tried joining in both the text and mic conversations with much the same results as poor styckx here. You type, nobody acknowledges your presence, you talk, and you get shot down.

Most of the regulars there are cunts who think they're running their own syndicated radio show. They talk about bits they're doing, yammer about the last time they saw someone who isn't around, or yell at new people. It's the stupidest clique I've ever seen... a bunch of unemployed, self-important, unfunny nothings who think they've found a place where they actually matter. I'll stick to the live room and other rooms. Why should I have to log 60 hours in a chat room in order to take advantage of a $60 investment? PalTalk geeks are worse than World of Warcraft nerds.

I actually agree with you on this, and I'm sure that it's the same for the majority of people. When the room is full of people that you like (or lust after), it's fun. When it's people you don't like, it stinks (particularly if the people you don't like are mic-whores).

You know, there is always an alternative. You can create a room, say for Wackbag.com O&A fans. There are multiple rooms for O&A fans already, as there are for Ron & Fez, so, if you really don't feel comfortable in the O&A fan room, go to another, or create a new one.

If you create a new one, advertise it, tell your friends, make admins of people you know will do a unbiased job, and HAVE FUN! That is the way you will get the most out of your Paltalk sub.

I love the O&A Live Room, especially on the XM side, where the bbboys let loose. It is fun to interactive with other fans in a chatroom experience, especially when the show members are involved.

Anthony has always been great at interacting with the fans, and that is what makes O&A stand apart from other radio shows, IMHO.
