i think the newer listeners weren't treated to the show where R&F wanted to prove how much earl is needed on the show....they did this by letting ESD run the board and it was a giant cluster fuck. Bits were out of place, timing was off with the promos, it was a goddamn mess.

earl is a huge asset to the show, and i feel that the newer listeners aren't giving him the benifit of the doubt when it comes to earls competance.

That always pissed me off when they would throw Dave behind to board. While it was funny, they could easily make Earl look just as bad. With Dave, they would just call out a bit then sit in silence while he looked for it. Since they did that i've listened for how quickly Earl actually gets stuff on the air after they bring up a topic. If Ron sat in silence like he did with Dave, there would be a ton of dead air on the show. Your taking a bit done to make Dave look bad and confusing it with Earl being competent. I bet if Dave was given a week, if not less, to reorganize recorded bits to where he could find them quickly and a little more time on the board he would do as good, if not better then Earl. Have you noticed that more and more people are getting pissed at Earl, there seems to be a common denominator here. Earl sucks and his lies are starting to catch up with him. He's only going to be able to deflect his incompetence to Dave and the interns for so long.
