I TIVO CSI Miami and I just started noticing it the other day. He has the gayest lines at the start of every episode. I missed the beginning of the bit today but as soon as I heard them doing it I knew.

It's pretty hard to go wrong with Patrice as third mike...his laugh alone is infectious, and when the listeners play the race card in instant feedback, it's gold.

I have always hated Caruso. I have been making fun of his cliché slinging acting style for years.

I think I remember a promo I heard on the radio one day;

"A title wave hits Miami"
"Looks like this guy was killed surfing during the title wave"
"I Guess he went... surf's up"

I liked the original CSI, but Caruso stinks on ice. I always found him so over-the-top melodramatic that it made watching the Miami show impossible... until now.

The thing that really makes the bit is the Daltrey scream. It's like a sarcastic car crash.

I agree. one of the best stand-out bits in a while. really funny to me for some reason. Patrice did one that had me laughing my ass off, but i can't remember it at the moment.

Absolutely LOVED that bit. HATE CSI.
First saw Caruso long ago in a movie. Supporting role as a burglars buddy. main burglar dude falls in love with a woman who's home they burgle. Schlocky. Caruso did well and his character was pretty cool.
A real County CSI on radio said he drives a rusty old van and wears overalls. Overworked and underpaid. Hours in a big city homicide detail are erratic too. No action with $2K Italian suits, expensive shades, and $100K Hummers is happening either. Hollywood s***!

We get the show delayed 7 hours so I just heard the poor guy that called in and said he loved yesterday's bit. Ant I think said "that's great," and the guy promptly hung up like they insulted him. That was classic too. The Heston imitation. Great, Great imitations. The Topgun one really had me rollin'.

That bit put a huge smile on my face at work because I try not to laugh out loud. It's still tough though.

I wonder how many mongoloid viewers of CSI know that in real life the forensic people don't also sport guns and badges and double as detectives?
I'm a geek, I know, but they don't in CSI Vegas, at least they didn't the first few seasons. The CSI in Vegas is a separate entity than the police department. However, when they did the cross over show to begin the CSI Miami series, they made a point of a saying that the Miami-Dade CSI officers were also cops, unlike most places in the country. So in CSI Miami, they would carry guns and act as detectives.

And people wonder why the rating are dropping I gotta admit it was good therapy for me. Watched the CSI's work at a loved ones place for a week and a half before we could get the keys back to go in. Maybe why I hate that there are so many CSI shows. No thrill watching an episode. I love the Charlton Heston NRA bit. Ant and I are on a parallel firearms type plane.
Enthusiasts but not rad right wing gun nuts either. Top Gun bit is just too cool. Like Damon from Ridgemont High. Any of that movie stuff is bitchin'.

I'll have to start paying closer attention because my friend's dad watches CSI Miami and sure that I have seen the episode where some of the one-liners on the you tube video were pulled from. Caruso has been lucky because most actors who pull what he did on NYPD Blue would luck out and get on another hit show like CSI Miami.

Everytime Patrice goes hysterical I gotta laugh with him, agree it's VERY infectious. Especially when it gets all high pitched :)

Yeah if ya punch up "Sacramento Bee Wii death contest" it should come up. I think ya gotta drink about 3 gals. of h2o before your sodium level gets too low. She either had a pre existing conditon or something. They said she drank 1/2 gal. of water but that is really nothing.

Caruso ain't a bod actor, they just have him doin' goofy shi1 so it looks cool to the "younger set." haha. I've watched maybe 2 mins. tops of the show and I've seen the Snagglepuss move Ant describes. It's like David C. either has to take a dump really bad or it's 1981 and he's got some snoot and a chick in the back of a van conversion and she's gonna do all the blow if he doesn't get back to the vehicle pronto.

Crap, I just caught a rerun on A&E... wow, they are not picking out the bad ones as this random showing was as bad as the ones they played in the bits. I'm thinking of programming my DVR torecord the first 5 minutes of all the reruns just to see how bad they stink.
