Not to ruin the thread with reality but hot pepper does not cause tissue damage which could be classified as a burn of any degree. Irritation perhaps but not any lasting effect. The effect is most severe on the eyes and mucous membranes. While he may have had some discomfort, I assure you he was never in any real danger. People who are pepper sprayed IN THE EYES with the same chemical at about 10,000 times the concentration of Frank's red hot are fine in under an hour when flushed with water.
