OK... the ESD gets fired or quits or volunteers to be out-placed or whatever this whole "let the callers" decide bit BS thing was..

What's the reality trying to be achieved?
The production over two shows needed to be rationalized?
Dave screwed up and couldn't handle two efforts?
The show is expanding their budgets and bringing new people in?
Branding the two shows differently?
Any ideas?

That's the biggest argument to put Dave on the Free FM show.

BTW, people keep saying "We can't get the show." Do you people mean that you can't listen to it during the 6 to 9 timeslot? Or do you mean availability? Cause it's live-streamed right off the Free FM website. http://www.923freefm.com.

Who cares what the real story is? This isn't O&A where they regularly break down the 17th wall. Dave had a day off, because he got burned by hot sauce, and they made a good bit out of it.

as for me, I listen to both O & A and Ron & Fez on Xm and not through the Free Fm Stream. By the way any chance Xm picking up the Free Fm broadcast

I can't listen to it during the '6 to 9 timeslot' because my air card doesnt work while I'm driving through the middle of Iowa. The Free FM show sucks, until it's simulcast on XM. Then it will rule.

I agree with this as well. It's probably the closest to the truth. The vote was probably just a way of excusing Dave from one show.

It was obvious Dave couldn't handle both shows, with him freaking out at the drop of a hat. This was a way to get him on one show. If Ron really wanted him gone, he'd be gone. The reason why it was the XM show the Dave was kicked off of is clearly because Ron likes us better.

1. I am usually not near the computer at the time of the show.
2. Even if I was, my computer has a very slow dial up modem and most of the time would be "buffering".
3. I paid for XM radio and ESD was one of the best things on that show. Not Earl the lazy ass jackoff. Not Ron, the Hitler who lied and screwed Dave out of his job, even though he won!

I seriously hope that the FM show gets bad ratings and gets cancelled. Or, I hope they start broadcasting the FM show on XM, just like O&A. I know the perfect time to put it. Put it in place of those horrible Dee Dee and Francine shows (MAN THOSE SUCKED).

ESD was one of the best things on the show. I know the Board Gossip was lame, but it was fun. Jay Mohr is a no talent bitch that should be charged with injuring Dave. Fez was the only sane one there trying to tell Ron that the whole vote thing was stupid. I have great respect for Fez. How about: The Fez And Dave Show- a new F.A.D. in XM!

First off, DGTBG, to say shit like that about Ron just confirms my suspicions that you truly are a hayseed, and the fact that you buy into this is pretty ridiculous. Hypothetically, if this shit was true, you would need to buy into a whole lot of crap. First, Do you think that Ron just up and forgot something that affects the employment status of a producer of the show? Fuck no. Second, East Side Dave could never be so stupid to put his job up like that in real life, when there is a whole website filled with pests that "hate" him. Third, If this employment termination is based upon the "rules" of this bet, there are any number of legal angles in this situation that a good lawyer would rip to shreds.

But if you want to keep buying into this storyline, I've recently acquired the deed to a large span of highway over the East river, that I'd be willing to part with for pennies on the dollar.

Ok, whether it is a bit or they need him gone I dont know. I've been around awhile and know it is useless to speculate. I also can take or leave Dave, I love his enthusiasm, but the show in no way "needs" him.

But what really got me about this one is how Ron presented the whole thing and basically sheperded him to the loss. It was obvious the kid never had a chance. Again, it was not the outcome but the cheating that got me. Even in jest it bothered me.

One of the reasons I love the R and F is that Ron is HONEST and CALLS THEM LIKE THEY ARE. This was a radical departure and whatever way this falls, I have to alter my own perceptions of Rons behavior. I cant really trust him to be fair.

3 Votes down before the show starts, taking away votes, or adding others just really pissed me off for some reason.

Again, I am not 'dont get the bit guy' and I am ambivelent to what happens to ESD, I just hate the way it went down.

If you have a Macintosh computer, there is some shareware, Wiretap Pro, which let's you record streams in various formates, including mp3 (although you have to register and buy the software. Wiretap Pro can also be programed to record from FreeFM stream on a daily basis, so you don't need to be present to record. This software can also record from any source, including if you wanted to digitize your vinyl records, tapes, etc. There may be some Windows software out there too, if you don't have a Mac, but I'm not aware of same. Good luck.

Bit or not, it's obvious that ESD is not the one that can't handle the pressure. Earl is the person who is continually fainting at the drop of a hat, not to mention at the important meeting with management where he was supposed to ask for equipment that R&F need for their show.

Even Tommy could see this is/was a bit. Even if ESD does leave one or both shows, it would be for other reasons and this would be taking advantage of it for material. But my problem with all of this is ESD.

I think ESD sucks so much at life that Ron can't help but be distracted by it. He's like the special needs kid that is being mainstreamed into a regular class, but ends up taking all the teacher's attention from the other students. Even when ESD does a bit, like many other producers before him have, it still ends up being about ESD, not the bit. And that sucks.

I don't know which would piss me off more -- finding out ESD is really that dumb or finding out he is pretending to be that dumb. I don't have patience for either.
