Just Saw Dane Cook at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood

Well just saw him at the Laugh Factory and he was not as irritating as I thought he was...

He only ripped of L'll Jimmy twice, once telling a heckler to slip in a puddle of aids and the second telling his girlfriend to meet him at the top of the stairs when he thought she was pregnant.

The real amusing part is when a drunken biker guy started "disrespecting him" and he asked him to leave... the entertainment started when the drunken biker guy’s gang banger son started throwing up gang signs and wanted Dane to step outside. The drunken entourage was whisked outside a fire door and the gang banger son came back in the entrance... and almost made it to the stage before being corrected by the bouncers. The other two comedians were ok, Tom Papa and some skinny black guy meh.

Oh and he had the nastiest Pats hat on I have ever seen and a Boston College tshirt perhaps a size too small.

i thoght cook was really good tonght but was bummed by the lil jimmy rip until i heard him say to my frined Liz afte rthe show that he might put the footage online tomorrow because he taped the set and thought the heckler thing was great to show. and he also GET THIS said he had to editout a line because 'he thinks its someone elses that he quoted by mistake'after i told liz to say she liked that line cuz i wanted to see if he would take credit but he did not..

at least he copped to itbut the pregnnant line i saw him do years ago in boston (im from woburn)

Forgot to add, that group was there for the previous show and I am sure lots of beverages as well. And where were you sitting? We were up in the balcony directly above them, I was the guy with the glasses and the wow shirt.

So he can use other peoples material in the private setting of a club, but has to edit it out of the video so the general public can't see what a lame hack rip-off artist he is?

I've been to the Laugh Factory a couple of times. It sucks that you don't know who is going to do a set until showtime. The first time I went Bill Hicks was the headliner and I couldn't have been happier. The second time it was fucking Poundstone and I got up and left when she was announced.
