I just went to the DC Improv site to order tickets and Jim wasn't listed on the calendar anymore. Does anyone know what's up with this?

Fuck, I bought tickets back in December. I will send Jim a email and see if he has any insight on why he will not be performing in DC. I assume it is still yellowtreats@aol.com? I will still see Dipaolo, but I really was looking forward to seeing Jimmy.

Post any reply if you get one. I will not be going to see Nick Dipaolo. The Italian Villa in Lancaster is pretty nice. It's real small but seeing Jimmy there would be great.

i had tix for the sat 8pm show, i was just called by the Improv to see if i wanted to exchange or refund the tickets. I imagine everyone will get called eventually.

He is not sure if it will actually happen, but he is pushing for the District of Columbia.

I am more then happy that he is choosing my fine city, but I do not know why. It is my impression that these big comedy specials are shot in a city where the comedian is from or in a place that is relevant to his act. Last time a checked Jimmy is not a political comedian or black.

In either case I am very excited that he wants to film his special here and he will get a overwhelming amount support from this Area. I will keep my fingers crossed and I will do a ceremonial Monster Rain dance to appease the HBO gods.

I don't know when and I don't know where. Jim Mentioned on Tuesday's show and he did not have any details. I don't think that he knows either.

I thought I heard him mention it again today but just to say it's still in the works. Hopefully he gets it here to make up for this cancellation. In the meantime I called and got a refund on the 2 tickets I had with no trouble at all. Nick Di Paulo may have been OK but I really wanted to see Jimmy. :icon_cry:
