I had no interest in it last night and I really don't want to listen to it now either, but that's just me. What do you think?

i dunno, those bands that wear lip gloss and eyeliner.. that all sound the same to me.
I did like one that had a lil celtic thing going on in the background.
Who plays Courtney Love songs? they did.

.
flogging Molly, their a great band...
I liked the interaction between the songs, it was fun having the goof on each other...
to get off course, I'd rather have a pest call in show with those guys, rather then the no filter paul, sonny thing that has been discussed..

I liked it, the music wasn't the main focus, but more waiting to hear Danny, Than, and Sam rip on Travis for the emo-shit he picked. I thought it was a good idea, anytime you can let those guys bust on each other in a comfortable environment it's going to make for decent radio.
I hope they get do the hour with all 4 of them, then bring in a few others like Bill, Steve, or Roland to get their musical tastes ripped apart.

it was ok. I think the only thing that was good was the bashing and finding out that travis is a whiny emo fag. Your fav artist is Courtney Love? eww. And who else noticed that most of his songs had to have the random snare drum solo? Hopefully he kills himself by hanging himself in a closet like Ray Combs.

I work and have a life outside of O&A and only get to listen in the morning, during the evening for an hour or two and on THE WEEKEND, usually a night. These saturday night shows are not entertaining to me at all because I want to catch up on some stuff I missed while my lady and me are going to eat at a fancy restaurant. And it replays on Sunday afternoon as well? This wouldn't be allowed on a college radio station, much less a station that broadcasts to both countries.
AND, it cuts out my R&F catch-ups as well.

Exactly, I hate the fact that they replay the show too.

i don't care for most of the stuff than played but he's the one who had the best hour so far. none of the stuff he played was new for me but at least he's exposing people to independent bands

Tried to listen, but just couldn't. Some of the songs were just too gay to believe.
Yes, I do enjoy the song selection but I am hard-core and I realize that most of the time it is a lite-version of the Than & Sam show because they basicly run the O&A Staff Musical Hour with their superior mic skills ... Also, it is taped which for a hour show for Saturday/Sunday is practical but might not reflect the mood at that time.
Also if they could promote the hour through announcements of their playlist, trivia, and some pic&vids afterwards on opieandanthony.com, that might help.
Aaron Burrito, I hope you started a similar thread on... but...;)

The word 'Adventure' in the title would suggest some kind of musical exploration...a journey into the unknown. Educating the audience in some audio gems that would have otherwise been buried.
This show fails to live up to its title. The music is either just bad (I'm thinking of them playing 'Danger Zone') or it's too predictable. Sad, and for shame to them all.
You LOSE! Good DAY to you sir!

I wish they would trash the Travis & the other intern shows and just replay O & A.
wait, is that what I'm listening to now? Will I get to hear more than five eighths of anything soon?

It's hit and miss, but I enjoyed Danny's Guitar Hero special.
I'm still waiting for Steve or Op to have an hour, to hear what they're listening to.

I hate Sam. His voice is like piss in my ear. He does not like anything that is not childish. I hope he dies young.

caught it a few times, the music was really nothing new or special. if im looking for music, xm has plenty of channels for us to check out. i really dont care what sam or travis listens to. its like a hostile takeover by horrible douches.

I dig the show in a big big way, the ragging on each other is priceless. I forget which one of the boys played it, but it actually made me like a Courtney Love song. Yes, gay, but whoever played it (Mighta been Travis, the femme) has alright taste in music.
Travis was the one who played courtney love.
