Now let me be the first to say, I love when Ron and Fez are on a roll, I dont really need any guests on the show. However the occasional one in the past has been really good (Paul Heyman, George Romero, just 2 of my favorites) with a seemingly nonstop stream of people sucking up time on documentaries inbetween. But for a while there, was like 3-4 guests a week, lately... noone. Is Earl dropping the ball, or the "Midnight Rider" to wrapped up in other things to book a decent guest?
Variety is good.

What part of "Get Right on It" confuses you so?

It's all Sapphires fault.

Personally, I like it better with no guests, because the guests they usually book don't interest me personally. I know I don't represent the majority, but I'm just fine with no chefs, indy directors or old obscure musicians coming in.

Ron said the job of an Executive producer is to book guests and deal with management, MR is def not the executive producer

Can't blame the Midnight Rider, although I'm sure sweet Sapphire would do it in a heartbeat.

What about Jay Mohr? Oh wait...

What about Ricky Gervais? Oh wait...

The last guest I remember is that black singer.

Don't forget Ron Wood is going to be on the show.

I concur...no guests is more gooder.

I love R&F without guests, but I really enjoy(ed) listening to the producers/directors of some of those indy films too. I'd love to see them get two or three guests a week in, but the large majority of the show is just them and their incompetent staff.

normally I hate guests on both shows, but today's guest on OnA was really funny (and I have never seen one episode of the office)
Also when RnF had Robbie Robertson (think that was his name, the black dude who played guitar, kinda soul sound) I fucking really dug his music and the interview was awesome, and I had never heard him before that.

most of the time guests stink but I really thought those two were really good

Do you guys think they can get away with the old style interviews they used to do like the one with Dr. Kim, and the guy who wrote the book on patenting, who never actually had anything patented? I know it wasn't a celebrity guest, but they were some of my favorite segments.

I miss R&F starting it and then having Jan Brady, Andre the Giant, and Kenny Allen "calling in" confusing the interviewee.

Is it too hard with having the show available online? Have publicists black listed the show?

I really think some of these guests, if you can call them that, don't really put in enough time to check out the show they are being interviewed on if they don't live in NYC.

I appreciate the esoteric bits, interviews with obscure directors and others, and independent anything. I know alot of people on WB couldn't care less for this, but like ron said, if you just keep trying to be funny/wacky you become the morning zoo. What other show goes deep into a subject, just to pull back out and do a dick reference (pun purely intended for illustration purposes only).

What I like about their show is that they vary their stuff. But what the hell do I know, afterall I am an asshole for not liking the midnight rider bit.
